In other news, I have no other news. 🙁 I have spent most of my days on the couch or at my desk trying to make my February 1st deadline. So, life hasn’t been too exciting lately.

Today is a cold, cloudy day that looks like it wants to snow so badly, but it’s not. So sad!

  1. Right now, my dog and I are waiting for the rain to stop so we can go out for a nice walk. We've been waiting for two days now and apparently, we won't see the sun again until Saturday. That's all that is happening in VA right now.

    But on more cheerful note, Pixar's latest movie, Up, came out on Tuesday. I think you would really like it. Next time you take a writing break you should try it. 🙂

  4. It's grey and dreary weather over here, too. I love it, though — perfect for curling up with a book. 🙂 Or playing with the new puppy.

  7. This week I decided to change my major from music to English and I have to drive an hour to my creative writing class, but it'll be worth it!
    Here in Tampa Bay it's been cloudy, damp, rainy and about 70 degrees. I had to drive my dog for her walk today!

    Oh, and I think I have opened my anti-Christian friend's eyes to the Truth and I think he may be rethinking the whole Anti-Christian thing! Praise GOD! Pray for him to come to Christ, please! =]

  10. I love your books! God has truly blessed you with an amazing gift! I love how the books have a light hearted feel, but they also have wonderful bible based meaning! They have drawn my friends and I closer together! So thanks!! Blessings!!

  13. I can't sign up for the newsletter!! It won't let me. Whenever I click on the button, it just scoots down, and nothing else happens. 🙁 I've just been really busy with school and life. 😀

  19. I just came home from work and my mom was wonderful and took me to Starbucks 😀 Later I'm going to make a chocolate eclair' cake for my grandpa's birthday 🙂 And then tomorrow I get to make Apple Crisp for a Bible study on Sunday. Very excited for that! 😀

    Oh, and I really want snow! 🙂

  20. So I became amazingly addicted to your books this past year. I was living in Albania doing volunteer mission work and your wonderful series got me through some pretty lonely times. The books were my roommates so when it was time to go sadly the books were not able to come with me 🙁

    But now the hope of randomly getting selected for a FREE copy sounds S'marvelous.

    Thanks for all you do! Seriously can not wait for your next series. Who knows where I will be when I read them?

  23. At the Christian Book Expo this past spring, I got a free, autographed, copy of Miss Match and since then I have passed it along to all of my friends and family members! It is the sweetest, funniest, and most heartwarming book that I have read in a really long time! Thank you for writing such great books!

    I'm day 9 into my latest WIP. I've already run up against a few walls and been tempted to turn to a new idea, but in honor of NaNoWrMo, I've decided to work on it every single day for the rest of 2009 without giving up. It may not end up being a perfect first draft, but at least it will be a completed one! Which is something I've never been able to accomplish in my life. Here's hoping!
